About Use Your Words

This series of small research projects — called Use Your Words — seeks to learn how nonprofits can more effectively communicate with people through their words, actions, and brands. The big idea: quickly learn enough to have better questions, explore culture in the current moment, and develop new ideas to test.

Paul Sternberg is a communications strategist working to advance the missions and build brands of nonprofits, social impact organizations, and social entrepreneurs. He spent a decade as the co-founder of a fifty-employee digital agency and is a designer, strategist, and advisor.
